UGSoL hosts University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School Delegation

As part of initiatives to broaden the scope of teaching and learning of law in Ghana, the University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL) met with a delegation from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School to discuss and actualise a mutually beneficial partnership for students and faculty.
Dean of the UGSoL, Professor Raymond A. Atuguba, in his welcome remarks briefed the delegation on the School’s numerous international partnerships, and how these partnerships have impacted the teaching and learning experience at the School as well as the partnering institutions.

“In the last couple of years, we have moved quickly in terms of our international partnerships. We currently have thirty-two (32) standing partnerships with other international law universities, some of which have been long-standing partnerships - like the University of Pretoria, which has been running for more than fifteen (15) years. Others are yearly events, whereas others have ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” he shared.
