CALL FOR PAPERS GHANA SUPREME COURT REVIEW – VOLUME 2 (2027)

The Editorial Board of the Ghana Supreme Court Review (SCR), published by the University of Ghana School of Law, invites submissions from legal scholars, researchers, judges, practitioners and other legal professionals for Volume 2 of the Ghana Supreme Court Review, scheduled for publication in October 2027.

ABOUT THE GHANA SUPREME COURT REVIEW
The Ghana Supreme Court Review is an annual, peer-reviewed legal publication comprising scholarly articles that critically examine judgments and decisions of the Supreme Court of Ghana and the principles, theories and doctrines underpinning them.
The Review seeks to deepen scholarly and professional engagement with the work of the Supreme Court and contribute to the development of Ghanaian law, jurisprudence and constitutionalism. It provides a platform for sustained dialogue between the legal academy, the Bench, the Bar and other stakeholders on the Court's jurisprudence and its broader implications for Ghana's legal system.

SCOPE OF SUBMISSIONS
The Editorial Board welcomes original and analytical articles engaging with judgments and decisions of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Submissions may examine significant or emerging developments in any area of law, civil or criminal procedure, evidence and judicial process, international and comparative law as applied or considered by the Court, and other areas of law arising from the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court.
Authors are particularly encouraged to move beyond descriptive accounts of decisions and provide critical, original and well-researched analysis of the Court's reasoning, doctrinal developments and the broader implications of its decisions for Ghanaian law and constitutional development.
Articles may focus on a single significant decision, a line of related decisions, or a broader doctrinal or jurisprudential development emerging from the decisions of the Supreme Court.
