On Monday 27th November 2023, a delegation comprising four faculty members and three administrative staff of the University of Ghana School of Law went on an exchange programme at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk, Poland.
The trip lasted for a week and engaged in lectures and networking for both parties. The delegation was taken on a tour of the University of Gdansk before actual exchanges began. The first day of the trip saw a well put together convocation and transcended into a lecture time where our members of faculty imparted their vast knowledge to the student body.
The second day saw a round table discussion on the topic, “Building, Developing, and funding International Academic Corporation” that saw presentations from representatives from each university. In the presentation made by Dr. Prince Obiri-Korang, our faculty member, he touched on our 19 twin master programmes with active support from Ms. Rachel Haizel.
Subsequent days saw cultural exchange and networking through a guided tour of the old town of Gdansk. The tour unveiled hidden elements and symbols of legal history which included visits to iconic landmarks like the Neptune’s Fountain Statue, the Artus court and the St. Mary’s Church which is the largest brick Catholic church globally.
The trip was successful as it saw the birth of larger networks and an even greater force of partnerships between the University of Ghana School of Law and the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk.
