Law Students' Union (LSU)
The Law Students’ Union represents and embodies all students in the School of Law as well as other students of the University of Ghana. As the country’s oldest legal training institution, our mission as a union has always been and continues to be to nurture not just well rounded legal professionals, but also to groom leaders capable of positively influencing and impacting on all areas of society.
We achieve this end mainly through intellectually stimulating and engaging programmes, which involve interaction with accomplished professionals, intellectual discussions on radio stations, as well as other social and entertaining events. The Union works expeditiously with the administration of the School to create a distinguished learning experience for our members.

Mr. Emmanuel Akpagli is a passionate young man driven by the desire to always be the best possible version of himself. His desire to serve stems from him being a proponent of the idea that we rise by lifting others. Emmanuel is a well decorated debater and mooter with catholic achievements and honours to his name. However, in all his achievements and leadership experience, his ability to serve, transform and impact others is what truly stands out, thus, there is no surprise he is the 49th elected President of UGSoL. With a renewed hope and optimism, the Akpagli-Baidoo led administration is a perfect blend of charisma, humility, service, poise, and inclusivity for all. Alma Mater: Mfantsipim School
