Welcome to the International Partnerships Unit of the University of Ghana School of Law

At the University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL), we believe that global collaboration is key to shaping the future of education. Our International Partnerships Unit is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections with institutions and organisations around the world to provide our students, staff and faculty with opportunities that transcend borders.

 

Our Mandate

The mandate of the International Partnerships Unit is to advance UGSoL's internationalisation efforts in accordance with the University of Ghana’s vision and mission of proactively engaging external partners at local, national and international levels to amplify our research, teaching and advocacy for the greater good. Through these partnerships, we aim to:

  • Facilitate Student, Staff and Faculty Exchange Programmes: Offering our students, staff and faculty the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research abroad, while welcoming international students and scholars to UGSoL.
  • Conferencing, Research with Local and International Partners: Partnering with global institutions to engage in cutting-edge research that addresses worldwide challenges.
  • Joint Curriculum Development & Teaching: Collaboration on course development and teaching between UPenn and UGSoL faculty, ranging from short-term to year-long engagements.
  • Joint Grant(wo)manship: Establishing connections with other departments and institutions to apply for and secure grant funding.
